The trickle down theory of fashion is explained to be when designers find inspiration from street style, and design/develop a 'look' to cater towards their high-fashion clients. That is they are taking from new, risky fashion, and developing a way to transform the street look into high fashion.
In New York City, our eyes are filled with new and exciting fashion everywhere we look, the trick is to spot the trends before they hit the market.
